Sports Performance Gym Utilizes Sports Data Platform
BUFFALO, N.Y. – Steven D’s Strength and Conditioning, the Cincinnati-based gym, which plays host to many world and Olympic medalists, will use CoachMePlus for all client programming to streamline training data.
“My goal is to provide our athletes with the most up-to-date resources available, and stay in communication while they’re away from the gym,” owner Steven D Holt said. “CoachMePlus’ ability to organize all of our data on one platform will improve both our efficiency and precision in training some of best athletes in the world.”
For CoachMePlus, the agreement is groundbreaking. The sports performance company works with over 55 professional teams across the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and NCAA, but has never before formed a partnership with a major gym.
“At CoachMePlus, we strive to create the most advanced and versatile sports performance application available,” Co-Founder Kevin Dawidowicz said. “We are proud that the first gym to form a partnership with us is one of the most well-respected in the industry. It is also a sign that a data-based approach can reach many different types of athletes.”
In May, Steven D’s became the first United States-based Eleiko Certified facility in Cincinnati. Eleiko weight training products are delivered to more than 160 countries and used in the 2012 Olympic Games in London and 2015 World Championships in Houston.
“With CoachMePlus on board, my ability to communicate with my athletes remotely increases exponentially in addition to begin offering remote programming,” Holt said.
“We see this as a huge step in the process of expanding into the gym market,” Dawidowicz said.
CoachMePlus provides an applied sports science software platform designed to meet the needs of athletic trainers, front office professionals, and strength and conditioning coaches.
CoachMePlus was founded in 2012 to meet the demands of the increasingly sophisticated sports performance industry, and it continues to transform the management of athletic performance data. Information from the CoachMePlus system integrates with data from third party wearable technology, measurement devices, and game data feeds.
By rapidly building customized solutions for each team, CoachMePlus has become the standard for teams across the NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA, MLS, CFL, NCAA, NCAA D1, and military. CoachMePlus has offices in Buffalo, NY and New York City.
