COACHMEPLUS and TIAG® Receive Small Business Innovation Research Award to Bring Innovative Human Performance and Readiness Technology to U.S. Air Force

BUFFALO, N.Y., USA, April 4th, 2019 — Providing the United States Air Force (USAF) with a state-of-the-art human performance technology built to support the fitness and wellbeing of Airmen, CoachMePlus and The Informatics and Application Group (TIAG®) have been recently selected for the first phase of a highly competitive Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award which will bring the innovative Warrior Performance Platform (WP2™) to address the need for remote fitness coaching for Airmen.

This SBIR award is an outcome of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and technology accelerator AFWERX, which partner to provide SBIR funding for innovative companies and products that can help the Air Force achieve its mission.

Built and based in Buffalo, N.Y., WP2™ is a Department of Defense purpose-built technology that provides military operations with a cutting-edge sport science research and pioneering software to safeguard both health and performance which requires both an intuitive platform and fully compliant system with the latest standards in military-grade encryption.

CoachMePlus Co-Founder and President Kevin Dawidowicz notes that this award will focus on the direct and specific needs of the Air Force and leverage lessons learned with our current effort for the U.S. Navy and their unique requirements.
